Recombinant Human Anti-HCV E2 Antibody (HCV1) (CAT#: PABL-500)
Recombinant Human Antibody (HCV1) is capable of binding to HCV E2, expressed in HEK 293 cells. Expressed as the combination of a heavy chain (HC) containing VH from anti-HCV E2 mAb and CH1-3 region of human IgG1 and a light chain (LC) encoding VL from anti-HCV E2 proteins mAb and CL of human kappa light chain. Exists as a disulfide linked dimer of the HC and LC hetero-dimer under non-reducing condition. Human mAb HCV1 has broad neutralizing activity against HCV isolates from at least four major genotypes and protects in the chimpanzee model from primary HCV challenge. The antibody targets a conserved antigenic site (residues 412-423) on the virus E2 envelope glycoprotein.
We specialize in custom recombinant antibody production, offering seamless execution from provided sequences to high-quality antibody deliverables, ensuring optimal yield and purity.
Figure 1 Blocking analysis of HuMAb HCV1 to E2 binding to CD81 LEL.
Varying concentration of HCV1 (blue diamonds) or irrelevant human antibody (red squares) were incubated with a constant concentration of E2660 and subsequently applied to CD81 LEL-coated to ELISA plates. Binding of E2660 to CD81 LEL was detected using an anti-(His)6 antibody and the percent inhibition as compared to no antibody plotted.
