Recombinant Human Anti-Gliadin Antibody
CAT#: MHH-397
Recombinant Human Antibody is capable of binding to Gliadin, expressed in HEK 293 cells. Expressed as the combination of a heavy chain (HC) containing VH from anti-Gliadin mAb and CH1-3 region of human IgG1 and a light chain (LC) encoding VL from anti-Gliadin mAb and CL of human kappa light chain. Exists as a disulfide linked dimer of the HC and LC hetero-dimer under non-reducing condition.

Q&As
-
What is the main target of the Recombinant Human Anti-Gliadin Antibody?
A: The main target of this antibody is gliadin, a protein component of gluten found in wheat and other cereals like barley and rye. Gliadin is known to induce immune responses in certain individuals. This antibody specifically binds to gliadin, making it a valuable tool for research on gluten-related proteins and studying conditions like celiac disease in a laboratory setting.
-
Can this antibody be used in ELISA assays?
A: Yes, the Recombinant Human Anti-Gliadin Antibody is well-suited for ELISA applications. It can detect and quantify gliadin in various samples, aiding researchers in studying gluten content and interactions in food products or experimental models.
-
Can this antibody aid in research on gluten-related disorders?
A: Yes, this antibody is an excellent tool for investigating gluten-related disorders such as celiac disease at the molecular level in research settings. It helps researchers study gliadin interactions and immune responses in vitro, contributing to a better understanding of these conditions.
