Recombinant Anti-BMP2 Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (8B3 var.)

The anti-BMP2 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human BMP2. BMP2 is a protein that induces bone and cartilage formation. The antibody has a novel BMP2-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble BMP2 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
