Human Anti-HBEGF Recombinant Antibody (clone KM3966) (CAT#: VS-0624-FY12)

This is a human recombinant monoclonal antibody that binds to human HB-EGF. It shows no cross reaction with mouse HB-EGF. Anti-HB-EGF chimeric antibody KM3966 exhibits antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity against HB-EGF-positive human solid cancer cell lines. It can be used in Neut, ADCC, FC assays.

  • Function
  • May be involved in macrophage-mediated cellular proliferation.
    It is mitogenic for fibroblasts, but not endothelial cells.
    It is able to bind EGF receptor/EGFR with higher affinity than EGF itself and is a far more potent mitogen for smooth muscle cells than EGF.
    Also acts as a diphtheria toxin receptor.
