Recombinant Anti-LYZ Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (VS-0625-YC215)

The anti-LYZ eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against chicken LYZ. LYZ, a lysozyme, damages bacterial walls and is found in secretions like tears and saliva. The antibody has a novel LYZ-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble LYZ from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
