Engineered for superior molecular recognition, the AI-derived anti-MTAP antibody shows high binding affinity for MTAP in human, mouse, and rat. MTAP is a key enzyme in the methionine salvage pathway, responsible for the breakdown of 5'-methylthioadenosine. In American oncology, MTAP is a high-profile target because its gene is frequently co-deleted with CDKN2A. This loss leads to the accumulation of MTA, which inhibits PRMT5 signaling, creating a "synthetic lethal" vulnerability in various cancers.
