Precise Mitochondrial Staining
I used this rabbit monoclonal antibody for Immunofluorescence to visualize PCK2 in the mitochondria of HepG2 cells. The staining pattern perfectly overlapped with our mitochondrial markers, confirming the antibody's specificity for the mitochondrial form of phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase.
Clean Western Blot Bands
We analyzed PCK2 expression in rat and mouse liver tissues using this antibody. It produced clean, single bands on the Western Blot, indicating no cross-reactivity with the cytosolic isoform. This specificity is crucial for our research on gluconeogenesis and mitochondrial function.
