Mouse Anti-phosphorylated Tau Recombinant Antibody (clone PHF1) (CAT#: VS-0623-WK88)

The antibody clone PHF1 was produced by immunizing mouse with tau. It is specific for phosphorylated (p-)tau (serine 396 and 404). It can be used for detection of human tau in ELISA, WB, IHC and IF staining.

Plates were coated with recombinant full-length tau, p-tau, or amyloid β as a control. Anti-c-myc HRP secondary antibody served as a detection.

JNPL3 mice for the survival cohort were intraspinally injected at P0 with pAAV2/8 (2 × 10e10 genomes) expressing PHF1, CP13, and Tau5 scFvs. Control mice were injected with rAAV-EGFP. All injected mice reached a terminal state (paralysis) within 12 months post-injection (n = 10-12). Median age of terminal state and relative increase of lifespan.
