The anti-RNF43 pH-dependent antibody (VS-0825-YC294) is a pH-responsive antibody engineered to target human RNF43. This pH-switched monoclonal antibody (mAb) was developed by incorporating histidine residues into its variable regions, which results in pH-biased binding to RNF43. By leveraging the natural pH variations in different tissues and cellular compartments, this pH-responsive antibody facilitates precise targeting of RNF43 on cells and tissues. Human RNF43 (Ring Finger Protein 43) is a transmembrane E3 ubiquitin ligase and a negative regulator of the Wnt signaling pathway. Mutations in the RNF43 gene are frequently observed in colorectal and pancreatic cancers, making it a potential therapeutic target.
