Recombinant Anti-SPP1 Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (hu1A12 var.)

The anti-SPP1 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human SPP1. SPP1 is a protein influencing bone attachment and immune regulation. The antibody has a novel SPP1-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble SPP1 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
