Recombinant Human Anti-HCV E2 Antibody (C2) (CAT#: PABL-498)
Recombinant Human Antibody (C2) is capable of binding to HCV E2, expressed in HEK 293 cells. Expressed as the combination of a heavy chain (HC) containing VH from anti-HCV E2 mAb and CH1-3 region of human IgG1 and a light chain (LC) encoding VL from anti-HCV E2 proteins mAb and CL of human kappa light chain. Exists as a disulfide linked dimer of the HC and LC hetero-dimer under non-reducing condition. This antibody were able to bind to a peptide containing E2 residues 412-422 (C-Epitope I) but not to the linear counterpart. This MAb bound to purified E2 with affinities of about 50 nM, but they were unable to neutralize virus infection.
