The anti-CDH3 pH-dependent antibody (clone 194-b09) is a pH-responsive antibody engineered to target both human and mouse CDH3. This pH-switched monoclonal antibody (mAb) was developed by incorporating histidine residues into its variable regions, which results in pH-biased binding to CDH3. By leveraging the natural pH variations in different tissues and cellular compartments, this pH-responsive antibody facilitates precise targeting of CDH3 on cells and tissues. CDH3, also known as P-cadherin, is a cell adhesion protein expressed on various epithelial cells. It plays a role in cell-cell adhesion and tissue architecture, and its dysregulation has been linked to cancer progression.
