Rabbit Anti-DNMT1 Recombinant Antibody (clone R08-4C7) (CAT#: VS3-XY3334)
The product is a recombinant rabbit antibody binding with DNMT1 (DNA methyltransferase 1), which associates at promoter regions of tumor suppressor genes (TSGs) leading to their gene silencing. It recognizes and binds to human DNMT1. It also has cross-reactivity against mouse and rat DNMT1. It has been tested using Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin, Immunocytochemistry or Immunofluorescence.

- Methylates CpG residues. Preferentially methylates hemimethylated DNA. Associates with DNA replication sites in S phase maintaining the methylation pattern in the newly synthesized strand, that is essential for epigenetic inheritance. Associates with chromatin during G2 and M phases to maintain DNA methylation independently of replication.
