Recombinant Anti-INS Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (5ins16 var.)

The anti-INS eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human INS. INS is a insulin, crucial for glucose regulation and associated with various diabetes forms. The antibody has a novel INS-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble INS from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
