This recombinant antibody, clone 0725W44, targets a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 581-630 of human SIRT1. It is validated for Chromatin Immunoprecipitation (ChIP), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunoprecipitation (IP), and Western Blot (WB). SIRT1 is a member of the sirtuin family of proteins, known to regulate epigenetic gene silencing and suppress recombination, functioning as an intracellular regulatory protein with mono-ADP-ribosyltransferase activity. This antibody is a useful tool for epigenetic research.
