The anti-ADAM17 antibody D1(A12) targets ADAM17. ADAM17 is also known as TACE and is responsible for cleaving a variety of pathologically significant substrate. D1(A12) can be used in the treatment of cancers such as ovarian cancer and colorectal cancer.

D1(A12) IgG inhibits PMA-induced shedding of ADAM17 substrates into IGROV1-Luc cellculture medium. Medium was collected 90 minutes after addition of PMA (100 ng/ml), D1(A12) IgG (200 nM) or solvent control. The proteins werequantified by ELISA.
