Effect of VEGF-A or -B on CRC cell migration.(a) HT-29 cells were treated with the anti-VEGFR-1 antibody 18F1 and used for transwell migration assays. At 48 h, incubation with VEGF-A or -B significantly increased cell migration, but treatment with the VEGFR-1 antibody blocked this effect. *P<0.0001 vs control cells; bars indicate s.e.m.
