The anti-EPHA2 pH-dependent antibody (clone 1C1) is a pH-responsive antibody engineered to target human EPH receptor A2 (EPHA2). This pH-switched monoclonal antibody (mAb) was developed by incorporating histidine residues into its variable regions, which results in pH-biased binding to EPHA2. By leveraging the natural pH variations in different tissues and cellular compartments, this pH-responsive antibody facilitates precise targeting of EPHA2 on cells and tissues. Human EPHA2 (Ephrin Receptor A2) is a receptor tyrosine kinase that plays a role in cell-cell communication, adhesion, and migration. Its overexpression is a common feature in many cancers, making it a promising therapeutic target.
