Recombinant Anti-FGF2 Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (3F12E7 var.)

The anti-FGF2 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human and mouse FGF2. FGF2 impacts tissue development, healing, and tumor growth through various isoforms. The antibody has a novel FGF2-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble FGF2 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
