Recombinant Anti-IL13 Biparatopic Antibody, Tandem scFv (Anrukinzumab x Clone IMA-026)

This biparatopic antibody (bpAb) binds two distinct IL13 epitopes, having been designed as a tandem scFv. The Anrukinzumab scFv (specific for the IL-13 epitope that binds IL-4Rα) is N-terminally fused to the IMA-026 scFv (specific for the IL-13 epitope that binds IL-13Rα1 and IL-13Rα2).

- Interleukin 13 (IL-13) is a protein that in humans is encoded by the IL13 gene. IL-13 was first cloned in 1993 and is located on chromosome 5q31 with a length of 1.4kb. IL-13 and IL-4 exhibit a 30% of sequence similarity and have a similar structure.
