Recombinant Anti-IL18 Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (2E1 var.)

The anti-IL18 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human IL18. IL18 induces T cell IFN-gamma production and modulates immune responses. The antibody has a novel IL18-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble IL18 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
