Excellent Cross-Reactivity
This rat recombinant antibody is fantastic because it recognizes both human and mouse MOG. We successfully used it in Western blot assays to detect MOG in mouse tissue lysates. The band was specific, and the lyophilized format was easy to reconstitute and store.
Great For Flow Cytometry
We applied this antibody in flow cytometry to analyze oligodendrocyte surface proteins. It bound effectively to MOG, allowing us to gate and study our cell populations accurately. The antibody is highly pure (>95%), which contributed to the clean data we obtained.

What is the immunogen and cross-reactivity of this antibody?
A: The antibody was generated against a recombinant mouse MOG fragment (amino acids 29-153). It reacts with both Human and Mouse MOG. It is a Rat IgG2b recombinant antibody.

How should the lyophilized antibody be reconstituted?
A: We recommend reconstituting the lyophilized antibody at a concentration of 0.5 mg/mL in sterile PBS. After reconstitution, it can be stored at +4°C for short term or aliquoted and stored at -20°C for long term.
