The anti-SOST eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human SOST. SOST, an inhibitor linked to bone growth disorders, regulates skeletal structure. The antibody has a novel SOST-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble SOST from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
