Rabbit Anti-TF Recombinant Antibody (clone R03-9B4) (CAT#: VS3-XY3522)

This product is a recombinant rabbit antibody binding to TF (Transferrin). This antibody specifically recognizes human TF. It also has cross-reactivity against mouse and rat TF. It has been detected by Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin and Flow cytometry. The recommended dilutions of Western blot and Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin is 1/500-1/1000 and 1/50-1/100, respectively.

  • Function
  • Transferrins are iron binding transport proteins which can bind two Fe(3+) ions in association with the binding of an anion, usually bicarbonate.
It is responsible for the transport of iron from sites of absorption and heme degradation to those of storage and utilization.
Serum transferrin may also have a further role in stimulating cell proliferation.
