Anti-LAG3 scFv-Fc is a monoclonal antibody therapy targeting LAG3 (lymphocyte activation gene 3). LAG3 is a transmembrane protein expressed on activated lymphocytes, natural killer cells, and plasmacytoid dendritic cells. Its primary function is to act as an immune inhibitory receptor, negatively regulating cell activation and proliferation to ensure the modulation and control of immune responses. Anti-LAG3 scFv-Fc represents an important direction for the development of novel immunosuppressants, providing new possibilities for cancer therapies.

- The anti-LAG3 scFv-Fc combines the features of a single-chain variable fragment (scFv) and the Fc region, exhibiting strong targeting ability and sustained biological activity. By targeting LAG3, this antibody can reactivate tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes, promoting the immune system's recognition and attack on tumor cells. This therapy holds promise for improving treatment outcomes in patients who do not respond to current immune checkpoint therapies and may become an important complement in anti-tumor immunotherapy.

Delivers inhibitory signals upon binding to ligands, such as FGL1 (By similarity).
FGL1 constitutes a major ligand of LAG3 and is responsible for LAG3 T-cell inhibitory function (By similarity).
Following TCR engagement, LAG3 associates with CD3-TCR in the immunological synapse and directly inhibits T-cell activation (By similarity).
May inhibit antigen-specific T-cell activation in synergy with PDCD1/PD-1, possibly by acting as a coreceptor for PDCD1/PD-1 (By similarity).
Negatively regulates the proliferation, activation, effector function and homeostasis of both CD8(+) and CD4(+) T-cells.
