Anti-FAP-AO-MMAE (Glyco MMAE) ADC (CAT#: ADC-100LCT)
This ADC product is composed of an anti-FAP antibody conjuagated via a AO-MC linker to MMAE. It has demonstrated a response in colon, pancreatic, and breast cancers treatment by a MOA (Mechanism of Action) of Depolymerize Microtubules.

Specifications
- Linker
- AO-Mc-
- Linker Class/Description
- Noncleavable linker is considered noncleavable-meaning linker cleavage, and payload release does not depend on the differential properties between the plasma and some cytoplasmic compartments. Instead, the release of the cytotoxic drug is postulated to occur after internalization of the ADC via antigen-mediated endocytosis and delivery to lysosomal compartment, where the antibody is degraded to the level of amino acids through intracellular proteolytic degradation.
- Drug
- MMAE (Monomethyl auristatin E)
- Drug Class/Description
- Auristatins are water-soluble dolastatin analogs of dolastatin 10. Dolastatin 10 belongs to dolastatin family and it can powerfully bind to tubulin, thus inhibiting polymerization mediated through the binding to the vinca alkaloid binding domain, and causes cell to accumulate in metaphase arrest.
Target
- Introduction
- The protein encoded by this gene is a homodimeric integral membrane gelatinase belonging to the serine protease family. It is selectively expressed in reactive stromal fibroblasts of epithelial cancers, granulation tissue of healing wounds, and malignant cells of bone and soft tissue sarcomas. This protein is thought to be involved in the control of fibroblast growth or epithelial-mesenchymal interactions during development, tissue repair, and epithelial carcinogenesis. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Apr 2014]
- Alternative Names
- FAP; fibroblast activation protein, alpha; FAPA; SIMP; DPPIV; prolyl endopeptidase FAP; seprase; FAPalpha; dipeptidyl peptidase FAP; surface-expressed protease; post-proline cleaving enzyme; gelatine degradation protease FAP; integral membrane serine protease; serine integral membrane protease; 170 kDa melanoma membrane-bound gelatinase;
- Gene ID
- 2191
- UniProt ID
- B4DLR2
