Recombinant Anti-COL2A1 Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (VS-0625-YC67)

The anti-COL2A1 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human and rat COL2A1. COL2A1, a type II collagen, is linked to cartilage disorders and osteoarthritis. The antibody has a novel COL2A1-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble COL2A1 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
