The anti-IL20 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human IL20. IL20, essential for antiviral pathways, is identified in breast cancer and virus-infected cells. The antibody has a novel IL20-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble IL20 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
