The anti-MSLN pH-dependent antibody (VS-0825-YC258) is a pH-responsive antibody engineered to target human Mesothelin (MSLN). This pH-switched monoclonal antibody (mAb) was developed by incorporating histidine residues into its variable regions, which results in pH-biased binding to MSLN. By leveraging the natural pH variations in different tissues and cellular compartments, this pH-responsive antibody facilitates precise targeting of MSLN on cells and tissues. Human Mesothelin (MSLN) is a GPI-anchored cell surface glycoprotein involved in cell adhesion. Its high expression in cancers such as mesothelioma, ovarian, and pancreatic cancer makes it a prominent target for therapeutic antibodies and antibody-drug conjugates.
