Rabbit Anti-RTN4 Recombinant Antibody (clone R05-4C9) (CAT#: VS3-XY3491)
It is a recombinant rabbit antibody targeting the RTN4 (Reticulon 4), which is required to induce the formation and stabilization of endoplasmic reticulum (ER) tubules. RTN4 also regulates membrane morphogenesis in the ER by promoting tubular ER production. The antibody specifically reacts with human RTN4. It has been determined using Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin, Immunoprecipitation, Flow cytometry, Immunocytochemistry or Immunofluorescence.
We specialize in custom recombinant antibody production, offering seamless execution from provided sequences to high-quality antibody deliverables, ensuring optimal yield and purity.

- Function
- Required to induce the formation and stabilization of endoplasmic reticulum (ER) tubules (PubMed:27619977, 25612671, 24262037).
They regulate membrane morphogenesis in the ER by promoting tubular ER production (PubMed:27619977, 25612671, 24262037, 27786289).
They influence nuclear envelope expansion, nuclear pore complex formation and proper localization of inner nuclear membrane proteins (PubMed:26906412).
However each isoform have specific functions mainly depending on their tissue expression specificities (Probable).
