An anti-CA9 scFv-Fc antibody is a recombinant antibody that combines the antigen-binding capabilities of a single-chain variable fragment (scFv) with the effector functions of an immunoglobulin's fragment crystallizable (Fc) region. CA9 stands for carbonic anhydrase IX. Anti-CA9 scFv-Fc antibodies have been used in research to treat renal cell carcinoma (RCC) cells. They have also been used in the development of bispecific antibodies that target both CA9 and CD55.
