Human Anti-TNFSF13B (clone 10B1) scFv-Fc Chimera

The anti-BAFF single-chain antibody fragment (scFv) combined with the Fc region of human IgG1 represents a novel therapeutic construct designed to specifically target and neutralize B-cell activating factor (BAFF), a key regulator in the development and survival of B cells. By leveraging the unique properties of the scFv for high specificity and the Fc region's ability to engage immune effector functions, this recombinant antibody holds promise in modulating the immune response in autoimmune disorders associated with elevated BAFF levels. Furthermore, clinical application of this innovative treatment could lead to improved management of diseases such as systemic lupus erythematosus and other BAFF-driven conditions, ultimately enhancing patient outcomes.
