Application Notes
This scFv-Fc antibody exhibits high binding affinity and is capable of effectively binding to both membrane-bound and soluble BAFF. Additionally, it possesses certain immune functions, as parts of the human IgG crystallizable fragment (Fc) can bind to human complement C1q and protein A, thereby enhancing its immune response and diagnostic capabilities in vivo. Furthermore, due to its ability to bind BAFF, this antibody is particularly prominent in potential diagnostic applications and may be used for diagnosing BAFF-related autoimmune diseases. In summary, the characteristics of this antibody make it highly promising for important applications in both basic research and clinical diagnostics.
