Recombinant Anti-TSHR Vesicular Antibody, EV Displayed (VS-0425-YC579) (CAT#: VS-0425-YC579)
The Recombinant Anti-TSHR Vesicular Antibody, EV Displayed (VS-0425-YC579) is an antibody-displaying extracellular vesicle (Ab-EV). The product combines the benefits of both extracellular vesicle (EV) and antibody (Ab) which can guide the decorated EVs to TSHR-expressed cells or tissues. TSHR is a receptor central to thyroid cell metabolism, acting as a receptor for thyrotropin and thyrostimulin. Its activity is mediated by adenylate cyclase, with defects causing hyperthyroidism.

- Introduction
- The protein encoded by this gene is a membrane protein and a major controller of thyroid cell metabolism. The encoded protein is a receptor for thyrothropin and thyrostimulin, and its activity is mediated by adenylate cyclase. Defects in this gene are a cause of several types of hyperthyroidism. Three transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2008]
