Human Anti-TSHR Recombinant Antibody scFv Fragment (PSBL-730)

CAT#: PSBL-730

Recombinant Human Antibody scFv Fragment is specific to TSH receptor (TSHR), expressed in E. coli. The blocking autoantibody scFv fragment binds more N-terminally on the TSHR concave surface than either the stimulating autoantibody M22 or the hormone TSH, and this may reflect its different functional activity.

Breast cancer biomarkers at key points during disease progression
Better specificity and affinity
The Human Anti-TSHR Recombinant Antibody (clone K1-70); scFv Fragment has been a key component in our thyroid illness research. Its excellent specificity and affinity make our assays extremely trustworthy, while the smaller size of the scFv fragment improves tissue penetration for improved imaging.
Breast cancer biomarkers at key points during disease progression
Non-specific binding.
The lack of cross-reactivity with other hormone receptors is a significant advantage of the K1-70 scFv Fragment. Our experiments have been free from the confounding variables often introduced by non-specific binding.
Breast cancer biomarkers at key points during disease progression
Effectiveness as an inhibitor
Signal inhibition experiments using the K1-70 scFv Fragment have yielded new insights into TSHR signaling pathways. Its efficacy as an inhibitor makes it an invaluable tool in our research into thyroid-related illnesses.

Q&As

  1. Is the K1-70 scFv fragment stable under standard laboratory storage conditions?

A: For long-term preservation, the K1-70 scFv fragment is stable at -20°C. It can be kept for a brief period of time at 4°C for up to two weeks without seeing a noticeable decrease in activity.

  2. What is the affinity of the Antibody for its target?

A: The thyroid-stimulating hormone receptor (TSHR) is highly selectively bound by the Human Anti-TSHR Recombinant Antibody (clone K1-70); scFv Fragment, and its dissociation constant (Kd) is in the nanomolar range.

  3. Is the Human Anti-TSHR Recombinant Antibody (clone K1-70); scFv Fragment effective in inhibiting TSHR signaling?

A: The K1-70 scFv fragment has been shown to effectively inhibit TSHR signaling in vitro, making it a valuable tool for studying TSHR-mediated pathways and potential therapeutic applications.
