The anti-BlyS antibody targets BLyS also known as BAFF, which is a homologous TNF-like cytokine that supports the survival and differentiation of B-cells. The antibody can be used in the treatment and prevention of inflammatory and immune diseases, such as systemic lupus erythramatous.
