Hamster Anti-CD40LG Recombinant Antibody (clone mr-1) (CAT#: FAMAB-0135YC)
The monoclonal antibody recognizes mouse CD154, a 39 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein also referred to as CD40 ligand (CD40L). This antibody has been employed in various FACS analyses for diverse immunological applications. For example, it has been used to demonstrate the constitutive expression of CD40L on naive CD4 T cells and its role in enhancing the survival of autoreactive B cells. Additionally, it has been utilized to establish the pivotal role of the interaction between natural killer cells and dendritic cells in the sensitization phase of contact hypersensitivity. Furthermore, it has been employed to show that enhanced CD8 T cell responses, facilitated by GITR-mediated costimulation, can effectively resolve chronic viral infections.
