Recombinant Anti-F8 Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (BO2C11 var.)

The anti-F8 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human F8. F8, a factor VIII, affects blood coagulation and its deficiency causes hemophilia A. The antibody has a novel F8-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble F8 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
