The anti-IL1RAP pH-dependent antibody (VS-0825-YC183) is a pH-responsive antibody engineered to target human Interleukin-1 Receptor Accessory Protein (IL-1RAP). This pH-switched monoclonal antibody (mAb) was developed by incorporating histidine residues into its variable regions, which results in pH-biased binding to IL-1RAP. By leveraging the natural pH variations in different tissues and cellular compartments, this pH-responsive antibody facilitates precise targeting of IL-1RAP on cells and tissues. Human IL-1RAP, or Interleukin-1 Receptor Accessory Protein, is a transmembrane protein that is a key co-receptor for IL-1 cytokines. It is essential for IL-1 signaling and its dysfunction is linked to inflammatory diseases.
