Anti-IL-2-conjugated liposomes may have the potential to selectively target and kill T cells, as they can induce the proliferation and activity of T cells. Studies have shown that IL-2-conjugated liposomes not only effectively target extracellular tumor-reactive T cells but may also enhance the effects of immunotherapy. However, IL-2 can also stimulate regulatory T cells, which may potentially limit its effectiveness as a cancer treatment.
