Recombinant Rabbit Anti-IL1B Capture Antibody (clone R02-6S1) (CAT#: VS3-WK1686)
This antibody is a rabbit recombinant antibody against human IL1B. It was developed by immunization of rabbit with recombinant human IL1B protein and then was produced as a recombinant antibody. The isotype of this product is rabbit IgG. The sandwich ELISA was established using matched antibody pair R02-6S1 and R05-7O9. The clone R02-6S1 can be used as a capture antibody in ELISA analysis to identify human IL1B.
We specialize in custom recombinant antibody production, offering seamless execution from provided sequences to high-quality antibody deliverables, ensuring optimal yield and purity.

- 3553
- UniProt ID
- P01584
- Long Name
- Interleukin 1 Beta
- Sequence Similarities
- Belongs to the IL-1 family.
- Cellular Localization
- Cytoplasm, Lysosome, Secreted
- Post Translation Modifications
- Activation of the IL1B precursor involves a CASP1-catalyzed proteolytic cleavage. Processing and secretion are temporarily associated.
(Microbial infection) Cleavage by S.pyogenes cysteine protease SpeB promotes its activation independently of CASP1.
- Protein Refseq
- NP_000567.1
- Function
- Potent pro-inflammatory cytokin.
Initially discovered as the major endogenous pyrogen, induces prostaglandin synthesis, neutrophil influx and activation, T-cell activation and cytokine production, B-cell activation and antibody production, and fibroblast proliferation and collagen production.
Promotes Th17 differentiation of T-cells. Synergizes with IL12/interleukin-12 to induce IFNG synthesis from T-helper 1 (Th1) cells
