SmartAb™ Recombinant Anti-AXL pH-dependent Antibody (Clone Hz1613F12)

The anti-AXL pH-dependent antibody (clone Hz1613F12) is a pH-responsive antibody engineered to target human AXL. This pH-switched monoclonal antibody (mAb) was developed by incorporating histidine residues into its variable regions, which results in pH-biased binding to AXL. By leveraging the natural pH variations in different tissues and cellular compartments, this pH-responsive antibody facilitates precise targeting of AXL on cells and tissues. Human AXL is a receptor tyrosine kinase involved in cell survival, proliferation, and migration. Its overexpression is a common feature in many cancers, where it promotes drug resistance, metastasis, and a poor prognosis.
