Rabbit Anti-FOLR1 Recombinant Antibody (clone R03-5I8)

This antibody is a recombinant rabbit antibody targeting the FOLR1 (Folate receptor alpha), which has high affinity for folate and folic acid analogs at neutral pH. It specifically reacts with human, mouse and rat FOLR1. It has been reported for use in Western Blot. The recommended dilutions of Western Blot is 1/500-1/1000.

- Binds to folate and reduced folic acid derivatives and mediates delivery of 5-methyltetrahydrofolate and folate analogs into the interior of cells (PubMed:23851396, 23934049, 2527252, 8033114, 8567728, 19074442).
Has high affinity for folate and folic acid analogs at neutral pH (PubMed:23851396, 23934049, 2527252, 8033114, 8567728).
Exposure to slightly acidic pH after receptor endocytosis triggers a conformation change that strongly reduces its affinity for folates and mediates their release (PubMed:8567728).
Required for normal embryonic development and normal cell proliferation (By similarity).
