Clone R81-6X-8 is a rabbit IgG recombinant monoclonal antibody that is specific for human PLCG1 protein, a calculated weight of 149 kDa. It cross-reacts with mouse, rat.
The following recommendations serve as a starting point for assay optimization. The actual working concentration may vary and should be determined by the user. The R81-6X-8 is recommended for detection of target protein by western blotting (dilution range 1:500-1:1000), immunofluorescence (dilution range 1:50-1:200), immunoprecipitation (dilution range 1:50).

For instance, SYK phosphorylates and activates PLCG1 in response to ligation of the B-cell receptor. May be dephosphorylated by PTPRJ. Phosphorylated by ITK and TXK on Tyr-783 upon TCR activation in T-cells., Ubiquitinated by CBLB in activated T-cells.

- Mediates the production of the second messenger molecules diacylglycerol (DAG) and inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate (IP3). Plays an important role in the regulation of intracellular signaling cascades.
