• This is a humanized antibody that specifically targets CD44 and demonstrates antitumor activity in mice with tumors expressing CD44, such as those implanted with MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells. In a short-term treatment regimen, tumor-bearing mice exhibited changes in the MAPK pathway in the responsive model; however, no alterations were detected in downstream phosphorylation in a nonresponsive xenograft model.
