IGF1-R (Insulin-like Growth Factor 1 Receptor) antibody liposomes are a targeted therapeutic system that can bind to IGF1-R and subsequently block its signaling pathway. This treatment strategy has the potential to enhance anti-cancer effects by inhibiting the growth and survival of tumor cells. Additionally, combining it with other targets such as EGFR (Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor) may achieve a stronger inhibitory effect.

  • This is a mouse monoclonal IgG1, kappa antibody, specifically designed against the IGF-I receptor, which has been purified from human placental tissues. The Anti-IGF-1 Receptor α/IGF1R Antibody (13F5) is highly recommended for the detection of IGF-IRα in human samples. It is suitable for various applications, including immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry (IHC-P), and flow cytometry (FCM).

  • This receptor binds insulin-like growth factor with a high affinity. It has tyrosine kinase activity. The insulin-like growth factor I receptor plays a critical role in transformation events. Cleavage of the precursor generates alpha and beta subunits. It is highly overexpressed in most malignant tissues where it functions as an anti-apoptotic agent by enhancing cell survival. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been found for this gene.
