Background
Enables aspartic-type endopeptidase activity and cysteine-type endopeptidase activity. Involved in lymphocyte apoptotic process and protein maturation. Acts upstream of or within several processes, including execution phase of apoptosis; fibroblast apoptotic process; and neuron apoptotic process. Is active in extracellular space.
