Recombinant monoclonal antibody to Human CD25. Basiliximab (trade name Simulect) is a chimeric mouse-human monoclonal antibody to the α chain (CD25) of the IL-2 receptor of T cells. It is used to prevent rejection in organ transplantation, especially in kidney transplants. It is a chimeric CD25 monoclonal antibody of the IgG1 isotype. It acts as an antagonist at the interleukin-2(IL-2) binding site of the p55 subunit (Tac antigen) of the high affinity IL-2 receptor (CD25) on the surface of the activated T lymphocytes.
This is a product of Creative Biolabs' Hi-Affi™ recombinant antibody portfolio, which has several benefits including:
• Increased sensitivity
• Confirmed specificity
• High repeatability
• Excellent batch-to-batch consistency
• Sustainable supply
• Animal-free production

DrugMonitor™ Anti-Basiliximab Antibody (VS-1224-YC163)Basiliximab is a recombinant chimeric (murine/human) monoclonal antibody functioning as an immunosuppressant by binding to and blocking the IL-2R alpha on activated T-lymphocytes. The DrugMonitor™ Anti-Basiliximab Antibody (VS-1224-YC163) is an anti-drug antibody (ADA) against Basiliximab. This drug-based antibody is raised in mice immunized with the Basiliximab. The anti-Basiliximab antibody may be used in ELISA, pharmacokinetics (PK), and pharmacodynamics (PD) analyses, or serves as a reference standard in ADA assays. It also is an excellent tool for therapeutic drug monitoring, allowing to evaluate the drug efficacy and determine the drug concentration of the Basiliximab in samples.
