This product is a recombinant mouse antibody that can recognize Histone H4 protein. This antibody recognizes the histone H4 proteins containing di-acetylation of K5acK8ac (i.e. H4K5acK8ac and tetraacetylated H4) but not monoacetylated H4 proteins. This antibodybinds to H4 peptide only if K5acK8ac is present.
