Vancomycin, a glycopeptide antibiotic, is utilized to address severe bacterial infections, such as those caused by MRSA (methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus). This product is the DrugMonitor™ Anti-Vancomycin Antibody (VS-0125-YC259), specifically designed as an anti-drug antibody (ADA) that targets Vancomycin. The ADA was raised in Balb/c mice immunized with Vancomycin conjugated to BSA and is suitable for use in ELISA and lateral flow assays. As a drug-based antibody, it also serves as an exemplary tool for therapeutic drug monitoring, facilitating the determination of Vancomycin drug concentrations in various samples.
